Collector, SP Go On Bicycle Ride To Meet People

Sambalpur: The Collector and Superintendent of Police (SP) of Sambalpur district have started the practice of setting off on  bicycles to meet the people in an exemplary people connect initiative.

According to reports, Samarath Verma, Collector and Sanjeev Arora, SP of the district visited Huma temple, around 25 kms away from here, by their respective bicycles today.

The officials also interacted with local people and appraised some developmental projects in the region.

Earlier, the Collector and SP of Maoist-affected Nayagarh district were seen travelling 25-30 kms regularly by their cycles in different parts of the district and interacting with people about the welfare programmes in the area.
