Odisha assembly's winter session to start from Nov 28

Bhubaneswar: The winter session of Odisha assembly will begin from November 28 and will continue till December 30, it was announced on Wednesday.

A notification to this effect was issued by the Assembly Secretariat after formal approval of Governor S.C. Jamir.

According to the notification, the session will have a total of 26 working days. The Naveen Government will introduce some important Bills in the Winter Session.

The opposition Congress and BJP may corner the BJD government over several issues including the Kunduli gang rape case and farmer suicide due to massive pest attack in various parts of the state.
