School students in Odisha to get shoes along with uniform

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government is considering to provide shoes to school students free of cost acting on a directive issued by the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR).

Sources said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is likely to make an announcement on distribution of shoes to school students on the Children's Day on November 14.
