Govt doing drama in Kunduli gangrape case: Oram

Bhubaneswar: Senior BJP leader and Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram on Thursday slammed the State Government for declaring 'no rape' in the alleged Kundili gangrape case on Wednesday 27 days after the girl lodged the complaint.

The Minister said the State Government is playing drama in the case and order for a judicial probe into the case is meaningless.

'What was the State Government doing for so many days? Why it declared that the girl wasn't raped 27 days after the complaint was lodged. The judicial probe order bears no meaning at all. The Government is doing drama only,' Oram told reporters.

He said people will give a befitting reply at an appropriate time.
