Agriculture Minister shown black flags in Angul

Angul: A group of women activists of the BJP showed black flags to Agriculture and Famers' Empowerment Minister Damodar Rout in Angul district.

Shouting slogans against the State Government and Rout for his sarcastic statements against farmers, the protestors showed black flags to the Minister at Mahidharpur in Angul district.

The protestors said that farmers have been suffering a lot in the State as the Government has failed to provide them with seeds, fertiliser, pesticides, loans and insurance coverage facilities. Besides, massive corruption and PC practices in Agriculture Department have led to farmer suicide in the State.

Meanwhile, adequate security arrangements have been made for the Minister during his visit to Angul district.
