Rains, cold breeze likely to drop mercury in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Odisha is likely to experience moderate rains at some parts and cold breeze due to predicted low pressure to be formed at Tamil Nadu coast over South Andaman Sea.

There will be rains in few areas in the coastal part on Sunday and it may continue till Nov 17 under influence of low pressure, which is predicted at Tamil Nadu coast.

Currently, people feel cold at night and early morning due to cold breeze blowing at 20 kmph from north-east direction.

Odisha will have partial effect if there will be low pressure on Nov 12 over South Andaman Sea. The low pressure is predicted to move towards Odisha coast on Nov 16 for which some parts of the state may experience rains, said Bhubaneswar MeT Director Sharat Chandra Sahoo.
