1 killed, 1 hurt in jumbo attack in Bargarh

Bargarh: In another incident of man-animal conflict, a person was killed and another sustained critical injuries as a wild elephant attacked them near Baidapali village under the Paikamal police limits in Bargarh district during wee hours of Friday.

The deceased was identified as Lal Bahadur Hans. The injured has been admitted to a local hospital.

According to reports, the two persons had gone to perform 'Karama' dance in Baidapali village. They were returning home during wee hours when a wild elephant attacked them. While Hans died on the spot, his friend sustained injures.
