Bhubaneswar: The proposed 60th Senior Police Officers' Conference-2018 will be held in the second week of January next year and will be held for two and half days.
A preparatory meeting was held under the chairmanship of Director General of Police (DGP) Dr RP Sharma to chalk out the detailed plans and programmes for the proposed event.
In the meeting, DGP emphasized that the traditional format and structure of the conference will be modified with emphasis on presentation on topical and issue-based themes which have bearing upon the police functions, duties and responsibilities.
As per decision, the conference will be held tentatively in the second week of January, 2018 and it will be held for two and half days. While the DGP is scheduled to inaugurate the programme and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to grace the valedictory function as chief guest.
