Three killed in road accident in Sundargarh

Rourkela: In a tragic incident, three bikers were killed as an unknown vehicle ran over them at Mushabira under the Chandiposh police limits in Sundargarh district during wee hours of Saturday.

According to reports, police found three youths along with their bike lying in a pool of blood on the road at Mushabira at around 2 am and rushed them to the Ispat Government Hospital (IGH) soon. However, they were declared brought dead by doctors there.

From circumstantial evidence, it is understood that a vehicle ran over them and sped away. As it was night time, there was none to rush them to the hospital soon after the accident.

The bodies have been kept on the morgue of the IGH now. Police have started investigations to establish the deceased's identity.
