Ganjam suicide attempt case; mother dies, 2 daughters under treatment

Berhampur: Minati Gouda, who along with her two daughters had consumed poison and were undergoing treatment at the MKCG Medical College and Hospital, succumbed this morning leaving the two girls motherless.

According to reports, Minati and her two daughters of Sarangipala village under Sheragarh block had attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison on Thursday. 
Family members had rushed them to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital soon, and they had been undergoing treatment since then.

Two daughters are undergoing treatment and their condition is stated to have improved a lot.
