Interaction with school kids: 100 celebrities to accompany CM on dais

Bhubaneswar: Preparations are in full swing for the Tuesday's programme where Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will deliver his maiden address to nearly 6.60 lakh students from around 62,000 schools across the State.

The CM will be accompanied by 100 distinguished personalities from various fields in the stage. They include editors of some frontline media houses, sand artist Sudarsan Pattanaik, senior IAS and IPS officers, litterateurs, Ollywood actors and actress and athletes. 

The 45-minute speech will be aired on Doordarshan and other private channels of the State from 11.15 to 12 noon on Tuesday. The event will be telecasted live from Capital High School here.

The CM will deliver his speech and may take some questions from students and also announce some schemes and welfare measure for students. 

This is for the first time CM Naveen Patnaik will directly interact with school children. So there is an excitement among the children as well across Odisha.

Meanwhile, Scholl and Mass Education Department Secretary Pradeepta Kumar Mohapatra along with officials of other line departments and police, Fire Services are giving final touch at the Capital Hospital ground.
