18 migrant labourers rescued from Rayagada railway station

Bhubaneswar: As many as 18 migrant labourers, including six minor boys and girls, were rescued from the Rayagada police station while they were being trafficked illegally to different workplaces in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh and Telangana late on Friday night. 

According to reports, the Dalal, who was taking the migrant labourers, managed to flee from the sport.

The Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) rescued the migrant labourers and have now handed over them to the Childline.

Police have now started a manhunt to nab the Dalal, about whom the seized labourers have provided information.
