Odisha can become No.1 State in India: NITI Aayog CEO

Bhubaneswar: Niti Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant on Friday said Odisha has all the potential to emerge as the number one State in India.

Attending the Harishchandra Baxipatra Memorial Lecture to mark the 84th Birth Anniversary of the late leader in Bhubbaneswar on Friday, Kant told to media persons that Odisha is very rich state in terms of minerals, in terms of human resources, heritage and rich natural resources  to emerge as the number one State.

In terms of growth and development, Odisha has ports and long coastline and linkage is with some of the best companies to urge as No 1 investment destination also, Kant stated.
