JE vaccination drive in Odisha from Nov 27

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government will launch a massive vaccination campaign from November 27 to combat Japanese Encephalitis (JE) that claimed many lives last year.

As per official sources, the JE vaccination campaign will be launched in 13 districts including Balasore, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Kalahandi, Kendrapara, Khurda, Koraput,  Nabarangpur, Puri, Rayagada, Sonepur and Sundergarh.

Nearly, 71.8 lakh children in the age group of 1 year to 15 years will be vaccinated with one dose of the JE vaccine during the campaign that will continue for nearly 20 days.
