BJP Bargarh president Narayan Sahoo quits party

Bhubaneswar: In a political development, BJP Bargarh district president Narayan Sahoo resigned from the primary membership from the party on Tuesday.

According to reports, Sahoo has sent his resignation letter to the party's State president Basanta Panda.

Sahoo's resignation assumes significance in view of the coming bypoll to be held for Bijepur Assembly constituency in the district. The bypoll has been necessitated for death of incumbent MLA Subal Sahu two months back.

Regarding his resignation, Sahoo said he was not satisfied with the functioning of the party and hence quit the party.
