Sheep killing continues in Niali

Niali: After a week's break, unidentified creatures killed as many as five sheep in two villages under Niali block in Cuttack district last night. Earlier on November 18 night, three sheep were killed in two other villagers.

According to reports, while three numbers of sheep were killed in Ranipada village, two were found dead in Bilasuni Talabana village under the block.

Villagers are in a state of fear now. They have demanded that the Government take early steps so that they would not suffer losses in coming days.

It may be noted that hundreds of sheep had been killed by unidentified creatures in various villages under the block. Expert team from the Centre and the State had visited the affected areas but what they had revealed could not satisfy the affected villagers.
