Gas tanker rams into shop in Rayagada; 2 injured

Rayagada: In anther road mishap, two persons sustained critical injuries as a LPG tanker rammed into a shop at Kumutipentha on National Highway 326 in Rayagada district early this morning.

The two injures have been rushed to a local hospital.

While the reason behind the mishap was yet to be known, it is suspected that the driver lost control over the vehicle due to drowsiness and drove the vehicle into the shop.

It is also learnt that a little amount of gas has leaked from the tanker.
On being informed, fire brigade personnel have reached the spot and started rescue operation.
