Loot bid in jewellery shop foiled in Cuttack; 4 held

Cuttack: The Cuttack city police foiled a loot attempt made in a jewellery shop in the city by arresting four dacoits during the bid last night.

The arrested dacoits include a most wanted criminal Rabindra Swain of Ganjam.

According to reports, the Mangalabag police new about the loot bid snooped on the dacoits while conducting patrolling in the city.

The most wanted dacoit Rabindra has more than 10 cases lodged against him at different places in Ganjan district. The arrested dacoit would be forwarded to court today.
