Don't shed Crocodile tears, rather build 2nd Brahmani bridge: Naveen

Bhubaneswar: Criticizing the BJP, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today said the Opposition parties have no concern for the Brahmani Bridge and asked them to stop shedding crocodile tears and start acting on the issue.

Patnaik's attack on BJP came minutes after the House was adjourned for the second time today.

The BJP MLAs created turmoil in the House over Gangadhar Meher lift canal system during the Question Hour today, following which Assembly Speaker Pradip Amat adjourned the House till 11.30 AM. They alleged that the state government has not sanctioned enough funds for the project. Later, the saffron party legislators staged a demonstration in front of the Mahatma Gandhi statue in the State Assembly premises in this connection.
