Fire in Rourkela SBI main branch, property worth lakhs damaged

Bhubaneswar: Properties worth lakhs of rupees were burnt to ashes as a fire erupted in the premises of the State Bank of India (SBI)'s Rourkela main branch at Rourkela late on Friday night.

Though exact reason behind the fire mishap was yet to be known, it is suspected that electricity short circuit might have led to spread of blaze.

Wooden furniture, computers, files and documents have been burnt, according to reports.
