Ex-Sarpanch beaten at Mao Kangaroo court dies

Malkangiri: Former Panassput Sarpanch Arjun Hental, who was beaten severely by Maoists at Kangaroo Court in Chitrakonda area yesterday at a Kangaroo court, succumbed to his injuries early this morning, according to reports.

Notably, Maoists had reportedly thrashed Arjun and his two aides severely in a kangaroo court held in a jungle near Panasput village yesterday morning.

A group of Maoists had taken Arjun and his two associates to a kangaroo court and beat them severely accusing them of not obeying their earlier warnings. After beating them severely, Maoists left them in the village end.
