COEB Organises National Seminar on Mechanical Engineering

Bhubaneswar: The College of Engineering Bhubaneswar (COEB), organised a two-day National seminar on 'Recent Advances in Mechanical Engineering' here on Friday.

Er S.K.Dash, the Executive Director of Nalco, joined the seminar as Chief Guest. He said, Mechanical Engineering plays a key role in ensuring the growth and development of a country's economy as well as in improving the quality of life for citizens within the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Koustuv Group Chairman Er. Prabhat Ranjan Mallick said,
the Science and research is crucial to India's Progress. 

He said that some key objectives before Indian scientists were more resilient agriculture, appropriate and affordable technologies for rural areas and making India a leading manufacturing nation and a hub for knowledge and technology-intensive industries.

Among others, Dr Sadasiva Dash, GM, Kaustuv Group; Prof Subrat Mohanty, Principal, COEB; Prof Sujit Khuntia, Principal, KISD also spoke on the various aspects of the Mechanical Engineering in present scenario.
