Fire Officials Conduct Inspection At 30 Hospitals In 3 Districts

Bhubaneswar: The State Fire Services department today conducted an inspection at various hospitals in three districts-Nayagarh, Dhenkanal and Jagatsinghpur- to check proper implementation of fire safety and fire prevention norms.

DG (Fire Services) BK Sharma said the fire officials conducted inspection at around 30 premier hospitals and private nursing homes in Nayagarh, Dhenkanal and Jagatsinghpur districts to check execution of Odisha Fire Safety and Fire Prevention Rules, 2017.

Moreover, the Odisha Fire Safety and Fire Prevention Rules, 2017 has also provision to seal hospitals flouting the norms, Sharma added.
