5 BJP activists detained for showing black flags to Minister

Sonepur: BJP activists showed black flags to ST and SC Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Minister Ramesh Chandra Majhi near Nalini chhak in Sonepur district today.

Sonepur police detained five activists of the saffron party for protesting and showing black flags to the Minister during his visit to the district.

According to the protestors, they had protested against apathy of the Minister towards the innocent tribals deprived of basic amenities.

The BJP workers were also protesting against the State Government's insensitiveness in resolving various problems in the district.
