6 tourists hurt as Safari bus skids off road inside Nandankanan zoo

Bhubaneswar: Six tourists were injured, two of them seriously, when a tourist bus skidded off the road inside the Lion Safari of Nandankanan Zoological Park.

Sources said the injured persons were admitted to the Capital Hospital here.
In November last year, panic ran high among the visitors at Lion Safari at the zoo here on after a bus carrying them stuck there for half an hour.

There were two lions at the time of the incident. However, none was hurt in the incident at that time. The Lion Safari is big draw among the tourists not only from Odisha but also from other States.
