Naveen opens new App for senior citizens to avail police service

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday launched a new App to help senior citizens to get police service through mobile sitting at home.

The Chief Minister inaugurated the App at the Senior Citizens' Conference held at Rabindra Mandap in the city. The App would benefit all senior citizens under the Commissionerate police area.

The phone number of the senior citizens would be registered at the respective police stations, which would have a nodal officer each. The senior citizens can lodge complaints with the concerned police through the App. On receipt of online complaints, the nodal officer would soon take steps to extend required help to the concerned citizens.

At the conference, a health check up camp has been organised where doctors are examining health of senior citizens.
