Petrol pump staff looted of Rs 14L in Choudwar

Cuttack: In a loot incident, miscreants snatched away Rs 14 lakh from a petrol pump employee by sprinkling chilli powder on his face at Govindpur over-bridge near Choudwar in Tangi police limits this morning.

According to reports, four looters coming on two bikes threw chilli powder at the petrol pump employee, who was going to deposit Rs 14 lakh at a bank at around 10 am. When the employee was groaning in pain, the miscreants snatched away the money bag and fled from the spot.

Later, the employee lodged an FIR at the Tangi police. The police have started investigation.
