Cold wave continues to grip Kandhamal

Bhubaneswar: Kandhamal district continues to be in the grip of severe chilly weather with many parts of it recording temperature between 4.5 degree Celsius and 5 degree Celsius.

According to local weather office, Daringibadi, known as Kashmir of Odisha, recorded a low temperature of 4.5 degree Celsius and Phulbani, the district headquarter town of the district, shivered with 5 degree Celsius.

Due to the persisting cold wave conditions, normal life in the tribal-dominated district has disrupted for many days now. Similarly, vehicular movement have been affected in the district. Most of the time, people remain indoors, according to reports.
