Diarrhoea scare in Ganjam village; child killed, 41 affected

Bhubaneswar: A child died of diarrhoea and 41 others have been affected with the water-borne disease in Shabarapalli village in Ganjam district.


The deceased was identified as Yashobanta Mandal of Shabarapalli village. She died while undergoing treatment at the Chandragiri hospital.


Many of 41 injured have been admitted to the hospital. Locals have demanded that a doctors' team camp in the village so that patients would get treatment at door step and the disease is checked from further

spreading.
