Six arrested in Sisupalgarh-Nuagaon clash case

Bhubaneswar: Commissionertae police today arrested six persons in connection with the group clash between the residents of Sisupalgarh and Nuagaon villages on the city outskirts on Sunday evening.

At least four cases were registered in this connection at the Dhauli police station, said Bhubaneswar DCP Satyabrata Bhoi.

Earlier today morning police detained eight persons and were interrogating them.

The clash occurred on Sunday evening when some youths of Sisupalgarh damaged shops at Nuagaon village and attacked some villagers over past rivalry. 

Police had to use baton to disperse the mob. Few police personnel were also sustained injuries in the scuffle.
