Biju Jayanti Observed at KGI Premises
Bhubaneswar: The 102nd Birth Anniversary of Biju Patnaik, former Odisha chief minister and legendary figure of Indian soil, has been observed at the premises of Koustuv Group of Institutions (KGI) on Monday.
In the early morning, Shri Priyadarshi Mishra, MLA Bhubaneswar North (Uttar) Constituency, Shri Ananta Narayan Jena, Mayor, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation and Er. Prabhat Ranjan Mallick, Chairman, Koustuv Group of Institutions garlanded the statue of Bijubabu located inside Koustuv Technical Campus.
The guests spoke about the life and achievements of Biju Patnaik. All the members of the Koustuvian family to pay tribute to Biju Patnaik on his birth anniversary.
The day is also observed as the Panchayatiraj Diwas to remember the contribution of Biju Babu to the development of Odisha. Biju Babu, an outstanding and incomparable personality had always emphasized on the women empowerment, and development of villages.
