Sushant, Ranjita sent to jail after remand ends, refuse to undergo voice test

Cuttack: Gangster Sushnat Dhalsamnat and Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) corporator Ranjita Biswal were sent to jail after three days police remand for interrogation in connection with in connection with the Bijan Kumar Pal firing case.

They were produced in the JMFC Rural Court. The court directed police to produce the duo on March 27 again. 

Commissionerate police took Sushant Dhalsamant, the elder of the gangster siblings, and CMC ward no-7 corporator Ranjita Biswal on a three-day remand.

The police seem to have obtained some vital information during to the interrogation. Meanwhile, the duo refused to undergo voice sample test in connection with the firing on contractor.

On March 7, police arrested Biswal for her alleged involvement in the firing case that was orchestrated by Sushant from inside jail.
