12 hr bandh underway, normal life hit in Begunia

Bhubaneswar: Normal life has gone out of gear in Begunia block area in Khurda district due to a 12 hour bandh underway since 6am. 
The Begunia Bikash Manch is holding the bandh to press for implementation of its three demands. The demands include establishment of a junior court and conferment of NAC status to Begunia. 
Shops and bazaars have remained closed and vehicular movement has been disrupted fully due to the bandh. Activists have blocked the National Highway-57. 
Adequate numbers of police personnel have been deployed to ensure that no untoward incident occurs during the bandh.
