Monkey menace in Salipur

Salipur: Two persons were injured critically after being attacked by a group of monkeys in Barabadia village near Salipur in Cuttack district.
The injured identified as Tushar Jena, sangram Biswal have been admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
Panic gripped the village as the monkey menace continues in the area. People informed the forest officials to capture the rowdy monkeys.
Recently, locals block Salipur-Chandbali road protesting forest department inaction to capture rowdy monkey which attacked some people in Chandbali area leaving them grievously injured.
People said the same monkey today injured the two persons in Barbadia village.
