Four critical in wild boar attack

Athagarh: Four persons sustained grievous injuries after they were attacked by a wild boar at Kandarpur village near Athagarh forest range in Cuttack district today.According to sources, the incident occurred when the victims were going to a nearby village pond to take bath in the morning. However, they came across a wild boar which attacked them immediately.
The injured were Initially rushed to Athagarh hospital and later they were shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack after their condition deteriorated.
On being informed, the forest officials rushed to the village and dispersed the boar from the near the human settlement.
