4 Killed, 13 Injured In Separate Road Mishaps In Odisha

Balasore/Dhenkanal: At least four persons were killed while 13 others sustained critical injuries in separate road accidents in Balasore, Deogarh and Dhenkanal districts of Odisha.As per police sources, two people died and another sustained injuries when the motor-cycle they were riding was hit by an unidentified vehicle near Naharpatna on NH-60 under Balasore Sadar police station yesterday. The victims were identifed to be residents of nearby Kalama village, police said.
In Dhenkanal district, two youths were killed near Aluajharana under Kamakhyanagar block when their motor-cycle hit a roadside structure after the vehicle lost balance, police said.
Though the victims were taken to Kamakhyanagar hospital, doctors at the hospital declared them brought dead.
In another mishap today, 12 persons were injured after a truck carrying them overturned at Gailo Ghat in Deogarh.
