Newborn Girl Rescued From Rail Tracks In Rayagada

Rayagada: A newborn girl child was on Monday rescued from the railway tracks near Muniguda station in Rayagada district.As per sources, a few girls heard the cries of the baby last night while they were crossing the railway tracks and rushed to the spot to rescue her.They then took her to one Hastini Nag who is reportedly taking care of her in her house. She said she would be treating her as her own daughter.Hastini said, 'I am very happy to have found her. As I have no daughter, I will treat her as my own daughter.'Meanwhile, it is suspected that someone might have abandoned the girl child after she was born in the hospital, as the railways track is very close to the hospital.No case has been registered in connection with this incident.
