10 Pilgrims Killed In Road Mishap In Nuapada

Nuapada: At least 10 pilgrims including four women were killed when their vehicle collided head-on with a truck at Silada in Nuapada late last night.The mishap occurred at around 2 am when the pilgrims of Pithora area of Chhattisgarh were returning from Komna in Nuapada after offering prayers at the Vaishnodebi temple.As per reports, the intensity of the collision was so severe that all ten persons died on the spot.After getting the information police and Fire Services personnel reached the spot and pulled out the bodies from the damaged vehicle. Later the bodies were sent to the Nuapada district headquarters hospital for post mortem, reports added.
