20 injured as mini bus overturns near Sisupalgarh

Bhubaneswar: At least 20 people were injured after a mini bus carrying them overturned near Sisupalgarh Square on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar on Tuesday morning.The accident occurred near Sai temple in Tankapani Road on Bhubaneswar-Puri bypass road. The injured were shifted to Capital Hospital in three 108 ambulances.According to sources, the private bus named City Ride carrying labourers from Sikharchandi area was heading to Pipli in Puri district when the rear tyre of the vehicle burst and it hit the road divider and subsequently overturned.All the labourers escaped with minor injuries. Eleven injured persons were admitted to a private hospital. Later, the injured were shifted to Capital Hospital.
