Puri: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) today decided to put up the rate chart of Mahaprasad available at Anand Bazar on the Srimandir premises after the holy month of Kartika.
Soon after reviewing a meeting on Srimandir reforms held here today, SJTA Chief Administrator Pradipta Mohapatra said that the rate chart of Mahaprasad will be displayed after the end of Kartika month.
SJTA Chief Administrator said, 'Before putting up the rate chart, an inspection will be held on the money spent for preparation of the Mahaprasad items after which, the procedure of the rate chart preparation will be followed.'Mohapatra further informed that it has also been decided to replace old and degraded live idols of Laxmi, Narayan, Madan Mohan, and Vamana from inside the temple.
'An idol of goddess Laxmi, constructed long ago in 1972, is already in place for the placement,' Mohapatra said, adding that a meeting for replacement of the corroded idols will be held on November 20.
Notably, the Pushpalaka and Singhari servitors had proposed to replace the old and degraded idols.
