KALIA Scheme: Farmers To Get Assistance Money From Jan 26

Bhubaneswar: The beneficiaries of KALIA Scheme will get the monetary assistance from January 26, informed Odisha Cooperation Minister Surya Narayan Patro on Saturday.

In a statement to media persons, Patro said that around 12.4 lakh farmers, who have recently enrolled in the state's agricultural scheme, will receive the assistance money from January 26. The funds will be directly credited to their respective bank accounts, he added.The Cooperation Minister also informed that the farmers, who are applying for enrollment in the KALIA Scheme during the extended deadline till January 15, will be verified by the officials concerned for authenticity.

After receiving the final list of the new applicants, the crop assistance money will be disbursed, Patro further informed.
