Six hurt as two families clash over land dispute in Cuttack

Cuttack: As many as six persons, including four women, were injured in a clash that erupted between two families over a land dispute at Sukarpada in Cuttack district on Saturday evening.According to reports, the families of Sona Khan and Sheikh Nizam of Sukarpada locality used to quarrel over some property dispute.However, the situation turned ugly yesterday after some members of Khan's family allegedly barged into Nizam's house and attacked his family members with sharp weapons.
On intimation, police reached the spot and detained two persons for interrogation. A case has been registered and further probe into the matter is underway.
