Ex-Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena Appointed BJD State General Secretary

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik today appointed senior party leader and former Mayor of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation  Ananta Narayan Jena as the State General Secretary of Biju Janata Dal.

Apart from the new post, Jena has also been given additional charge of Observer for Bhubaneswar organisational district and Patna Assembly Constituency in Keonjhar district.Meanwhile, the BJD supremo has cancelled the suspension order of the former chairman of Paradip Municipality, Govinda Tarai, informed BJD state secretary Bijay Naik, in a press note.
