Maoist posters urging to boycott ensuing polls resurface in Kalahandi

Kalahandi: Maoist posters urging the people to boycott upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in the state were once again found at Belgan village under M Rampur police limits in Kalahandi district today.

According to sources, the poster has been put up by KKBN (Kandhamal-Kalahandi-Boudh-Nayagarh) division of the outlawed outfit. Through the poster, the rebels have urged the locals to abstain from the upcoming elections.This apart, the rebels have threatened Kalahandi SP that they will kill a police official named Nabin Bhoi.

It is worth mentioning here that earlier similar posters and banners of Maoists urging people to boycott the forthcoming elections were also found at several places in Nayagarh district. In the posters, the rebels had threatened to blow up Daspalla, Nuagaon and Gania police stations along with Nayagarh court.
