Match 29 KKR vs CSK: Chawla double keeps Kolkata in the game

Match 29 of the Indian Premier League as Kolkata Knight Riders lock horns with Chennai Super Kings live from Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Excellent bowling effort by Chennai at the back end of this innings. They gave away just 28 runs in the final five overs and picked up three wickets too. That completely spoiled Kolkata's hope of maximizing the death overs and they ended up with a below-par total on this ground. Kolkata initiated brightly after being put into bat. Chris Lynn was in top gear from the word go and he took Deepak Chahar, the best bowler for Chennai in the Powerplay before this match, to the cleaners. Chennai were under pressure in the first half but then made a resounding comeback on the back of Imran Tahir's overs. The leggie bowled with great control and picked up four wickets in his spell and pegged the opposition back in the middle overs. Chris Lynn, Nitish Rana, Robin Uthappa and Andre Russell were his victims, all star players, and that speaks volumes about his performance.
