2 killed, 5 injured as plane hits copter in Nepal

Solukhumbu: Two persons were killed and five others injured critically on Sunday after a plane collided with helicopter at Tenzing-Hillary airport in Nepal.

The helicopter was stationary at the airport when the incident occurred, reports said .The Tenzing-Hillary airport  comes under Solukhumbu district in Nepal.

Media reports said  the Summit Air plane was taking off for Kathmandu from the Lukla airport in the district.Officials said the injured including a police personnel were airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment.
