Despite the cloudburst in Delhi-NCR, there will be more wait for at least three days for the much anticipated monsoon rains. There is no possibility of rain till Monday.India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Friday that the dry season of the rain without any rainfall is likely to continue in the region.
According to the Meteorological Department, light rain is expected in Delhi-NCR on July 15 night.Regional weather forecast chief Kuldeep Shrivastava told IANS, "There will be dry conditions for the next three days, there will be dust in the air and light rain is expected on July 15 and thereafter."
Skymet, the private weather forecasting agency, also said that the weather is unlikely to have any significant activity in the next three days. According to SkyMate, the seasonal pond has shifted towards the foothills of the Himalayas, which is likely to have heavy rains in northern districts of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
SkyMate chief Mahesh Palawat said to IANS, "From July 15, the Kund will start the journey of the south along with rain in Delhi-NCR and other parts of Haryana and Punjab, between 17 and 19 July, the intensity of rain is expected to increase. "
