Asit Kumar Tripathy New Chief Secretary Of Odisha

Bhubaneswar : Senior IAS officer Asit Kumar Tripathy will be the new Chief Secretary of Odisha. Tripathy is  working as the Development Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary (Home). He has been elevated to the top post.He is the 1986-batch IAS officer. The State Government today effected a reshuffle in senior IAS officer level.  

.Forest and Environment Additional Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra has been appointed as the Development Commissioner in the place of Mr Tripathy. He will also be in additional charge of working chairperson of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA).

School and Mass Education Secretary Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra has been appointed as the new Agriculture Production Commissioner.The  above mentioned reshuffle will come to force from August 19.
Retired IAS officer R Balakrishan will serve as the Chief Adviser, Chief Ministerís Office (CMO)  with immediate effect. Krishan Kumar has been assigned the additional charge of SJTA Chief Administrator along with his original portfolio as Works Secretary with immediate effect. 

 Government has issued a notification in this regard. The reshuffle necessitated  after incumbent Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi's name cleared for the post of State Election Commissioner.
