Odisha extends Helping Hand to AP in Post Cyclone Hudhud Restoration Work

Bhubaneswar, Oct 13: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has extended the helping hand to his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu in the post cyclone restoration work. He has assured all the help required to the neighbouring state that was badly hit hit by the severe cyclonic storm Hudhud.

Naidu sought advanced machines and equipments from Odisha for cutting the trees uprooted in the cyclone for road clearing and restoration of power lines. He has also requested Patnaik to send support the state in relief and rescue operations. Odisha government sent two ODRAF and 30 fire brigade teams to repair power infrastructure, and help in rescue and relief works.
