Eight Naxals surrender in Chhattisgarh

Raipur, Oct 17 (PTI): Eight naxals surrendered in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh, sending a note of triumph over Maoism of the state administration. The most wanted red rebels including a deputy commander, were carrying cash rewards on each of them.

The eight naxals surrendered themselves in last evening citing disappointment over high-handedness of senior cadres and exploitation of women and lower rank rebels, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) of Narayanpur OP Sharma said today.
